Basement finishing on the North Shore.
A bare basement turned into finished living space: insulation, electrical, plumbing where needed, then the finishing. Basement renovation and finishing, on its own or within a larger project.
From a bare basement to one more room in the house.
A bare basement is floor area waiting to be used. Finishing it means turning it into finished living space: insulation, electrical, plumbing where needed, then the finishing that completes the job.
We do it on its own or as part of a major renovation, across the North Shore. One team coordinates the trades: plumber, electrician and engineer where needed.

Basement finishing: frequently asked questions
What does finishing a basement include?
Turning a bare basement into finished living space: insulation, electrical, plumbing where needed, then the finishing (drywall, mouldings, paint, fine carpentry).
Do you do only the finishing of a basement?
Yes. Finishing can be a project of its own or part of a larger one, such as a major renovation (page in French). See our interior finishing page.
Is plumbing included?
Where needed. If the project calls for plumbing, we coordinate the plumber, as we do the electrician, so you do not have to juggle several subcontractors.
Do I need a permit to finish a basement?
In Blainville, the City lists the "interior fit-out of a room or premises" among the examples of renovation that require a building permit, but its page Règlements et permis (in French, read on November 3, 2026) does not name basements. In another town, that municipality's rules apply. We check this with you before we start.
How much does finishing a basement cost?
We do not publish prices. Every project gets a detailed, line-by-line quote, free and with no obligation.
Which towns do you work in?
All over the North Shore: Blainville, Terrebonne, Mirabel, Boisbriand, Rosemère, Saint-Eustache, Sainte-Thérèse, Lorraine, Bois-des-Filion and Saint-Jérôme. One call is enough to confirm your area.
Are you an RBQ licensed contractor?
Yes. Les Constructions PRO G2 holds RBQ licence 5854-3927-01. You can check it in the RBQ register: see our guide on how to check an RBQ licence.
